In 1991
Manuela Brennan started GRAND STANDS as a distributor marketing to the computer industry. the name came from the original purpose - supplying computer tables. At the time, her husband, Thad Brennan, was an independent manufacturers representative. In his spare time, he designed our first proprietary product, the 2100PL Keyboard Tray. This product filled a niche and opened the doors to the office furniture industry. It was this product that made us aware of the need for specialized ergonomic products in the work place, "not off the shelf."
Incorporated in 1994, GRAND STANDS has continued to innovate creating such products as he Click!t and SteadyLift proprietary lift and lock keyboards. These arms surpass the industry standards for stability and height range. The patented Slide-Lock mouse surface uses on the ET2-3-4 platforms is the industries most versatile mousing surface.
